That thinking came directly from Phillip Wallace’s own experience as a farmer. When suitable machinery wasn’t available to meet real paddock conditions, Phillip began designing and fabricating his own implements.
For over 45 years, Phillip has led Active Group’s evolution into a premier Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), proudly based in Cowra, NSW. Today, Active Group is the manufacturing home of AGRIBIN, BROOKFIELD, and TUSKAN, where Phillip continues to drive practical innovation and durability for the Australian broadacre sector.
As Managing Director, Craig Wallace continues the family-led legacy of innovation that has defined Active Group for generations. With nearly two decades of leadership within the business, Craig plays a central role in guiding AGPL’s strategic direction, manufacturing growth, and ongoing product development.
Craig is deeply committed to future-proofing regional Australian manufacturing through smart design and the use of quality Australian steel. By fostering long-term supplier and dealer relationships, he ensures reliability and trust across the agricultural supply chain.
Steven Wallace represents the next generation of leadership at Active Group, bringing deep operational knowledge and a lifelong connection to Australian agriculture. Having grown up on the factory floor, his experience spans production, fabrication, and process improvement, giving him a practical, end-to-end understanding of how machinery is delivered for real farming conditions.
Steven plays a key role in overseeing manufacturing operations across Active Group’s Cowra facility, ensuring quality and consistency across AGRIBIN, BROOKFIELD, and TUSKAN products. His focus is on translating design intent into robust, reliable equipment that performs season after season in Australian paddocks.
Cindy Nacey brings a rare blend of logistics expertise, systems thinking, and practical problem-solving to her role as Engineering Coordinator. With a Master of Logistics Management and nearly 30 years’ experience in coordination, she joined Active Group in 2021 to bridge the gap between engineering, production, and on-farm outcomes.
As a mixed farmer herself, Cindy’s hands-on agricultural know-how ensures that Active Group machinery is perfectly aligned with how farmers operate in the paddock. She helps oversee the full lifecycle of equipment – from concept through to manufacture – for all three core brands.
Catrina’s connection to agriculture was shaped through hands-on experience in a farming family and on-farm roles managing feedlots. Her career has since progressed through agronomy and senior commercial roles across both Australia and Canada, providing her with a rare, end-to-end understanding of how agronomic innovation translates into commercial outcomes that farmers trust.
At Active Group, Catrina leads the sales and marketing teams and oversees the business’s commercial performance and dealer network effectiveness. As a General Board Director for Australian Women in Agriculture (AWiA), she also contributes to national advocacy and the strategic development of leadership across the Australian agricultural sector.
